Festive season is just round the corner! And that usually means more trips to cinemas for Christmas movies of home alone kids, elves and Santa Claus who always look different in the movies.
As you know I have certain pet peeves going to movies. Here's a survivor guide to watching movies with me. Follow them at your own discretion for LEGENDARY movie experiences.
Disclaimer: This post is made after a night's stayover work in office and the brain has stopped functioning in the 'boring' mode. So please don't mind the mis-spelling of 'pleasure'.

But the people in the photos are sad, and alone... Thanks to my sister who's been watching this over and over again and reading up on the new Left4Dead 2, I've been informed that this is definitely a carefully crafted piece of intro.
The first scene where the 4 of them are exploring in the house is related to their working fields. The lady is a reporter (of some sorts)..guy who opens the cash register is a gambler/con-man, young guy is a student technician and the fat guy used to be a football coach (of some sorts).
Cool, right?
What's cooler I think it's their facial expressions! Can see it's better than the first one.
We're all grown ups. I'm well exhausted. I hate to have to 'look after' simple things for someone else. It's not like you all are thick. Just remember to use your brain. Maybe some thoughts about near future would be nice too.

I really agree to it, though of course few times there will be situations which are out of our controls. But at the end of the day, it's our own perception of something and how we choose to react and look at it. (something like a penniless man can be happier than a billionaire kinda theory)

What's with all the tsunami, earthquakes and floods? There's easily 4, 5 of them alone this week. Everytime I hear another one I gave an inner shudder..especially when I felt the aftershock for first time in my life weeks ago. It's so near. It's so real. But there's nothing we can do about it.

Don't mistake me for complaining! Though it can be really exhausting, I look forward to it and continue to improve for I realise I must have been kind of stagnant for a while!
It's gonna be real busy for me from now till January..
In the meantime, I had my first shoot last Saturday as the first videographer! Yay! I'm also starting to liaise with couples so it's good because I think it helps to know them before you shoot for them.
Anyway here's a couple of photos from Bintan. I went there for 3D2N and it rained 2D2N. I hope to be back again!
I realise something. Today I left work late. I reach home, showered..and ate dinner at nearly 10pm. Not highlighting the late dinner here (loads of you all do that worst I'm sure). What I want to draw your attention to here is..while I was having my dinner, I was having it in a hurry. Despite the delicious brocoli. I was read an article B2 tweeted way earlier today..but have been too busy to read till now.
I was wolfing my dinner down while reading an article on my iTouch. Paint me the picture.
I was reading Nigel Marsh's Overworked & Underlaid on the way home from work in the train.
And he wrote, "My observation is this: in many ways, intentions are irrelevant when it comes to your behaviour. It is your impact on other people that is the crucial thing."
Couldn't have been more spot on.
And yet less than an hour after I swore to myself I'd work on that, I did just the opposite.

I was looking for some interesting music videos and I thought I'd try this song (which I have been listening to quite a bit) and it didn't disappoint.
So tired from today's pre-wedding shoot..partly because I laid on the bed for two hours or so and couldn't fall asleep last night.
Today's shoot was cool, I cannot wait to see the final video..so excited and motivated at the same time! Spent nearly 6 hours with the couple..really enjoyed the experience..I believe a lot in spending quality time with the couple before we shoot anything for them..to minimise miscommunication and become friends, if you will. It's the personal touch so that we can do the best for them.
This was taken eh, I think it's 2 weeks..2 weeks ago at my cousin's 2 years old daughter's birthday. Some of us went down to the playground and I got all my cousins to pose for me! Damn it, I cannot get the colour I want though..
Happy Birthday to J.K Rowling, you've given me something to dream, imagine, and enjoy tremendously over the last (nearly a) decade. You've re-ignited my habbit of reading (Roald Dahl was the first). You've made me re-read a single book so many times (it's never happen before to other books). You've made me queue overnight for a book. You've made me walk around the premise of a cinema for over an hour begging asking for premiere tickets. You've made people call me Harry Potter.
And finally, you've made me believe in Magic.
Happy Birthday to Harry Potter, you've taught and showed me what real courage (and at times, stupidity) is!

Kay I'm feeling bit retarded right now, because I finished my library copy of The Wednesday Letters last Saturday (which is the due date), and I have been lazy to return it..till tonight, THEN I REALISED I FORGOT TO READ THE LETTER EPILOGUE ON THE INNER SIDE OF THE BACK COVER.
This morning in the lift, I happen to take it down with my neighbour's kid. I was at the lobby before he does and when he came I was surprised he gave me a smile.
In the lift:
Me: What primary are you? Boy: Primary 5 very short Me: *mental chuckle* Oh, I thought Primary 5s are afternoon sessions.. Boy: CCA.
And then he rattles off quickly,
Boy: Next year they're changing, Primary 1s and 2s are afternoon session (or was it morning??) and Primary 3s, 4s, 5s, 6s in the other session..
By then we're already at the level one lobby and he's already going off in the other direction as he said that, lol
I'm now starting to discover songs by Muddy Waters and Bob Dylan! Love them a lot! Can so imagine cruising on a highway in the twilight along with the songs.
July has been a bad month. Well bad month on my saving front. Think I got nothing left to save. May August be a much better month..splurged too much on food this month!
Oh my god I think I will watch Half-Blood Prince once in Cathay Cineplexes. Don't know it's the row I was in or what, I think the JP GV theatres are not loud and stylo enough!
Oh did I mention? My phone spoilt..and it's not even a year yet. Pffft, now on B2's old phone. Need to check up my warranty sooon, so lazy to do so I'd rather live with a spoilt phone. lol
Friday! Big day! Gonna catch Liverpool FC from 2pm-3pm at JP! And then on Saturday they'll been taking the Singapore River Boat Tour at 1pm (or is it 1.30pm??). I think I'm gonna go that one as well. I'm so broke, now I don't know if I should go to the match at Singapore Stadium this Sunday 7pm! Pffffffft..
My phone spoilt on me altogther yesterday so I borrowed one from B2.
Then this morning I realised today's the gala premiere of HBP! And I have 6 SMSes stuck in my phone I can't read so there's a chance I could have won the tickets!
So I decided to drop by Shaw Lido after work and go check the namelist if I'm one of the winners.
Alas, I was so sure I was.
Shortly, my brother arrived (I got him to, just in case I won the pair of tickets) and I have already started wandering around the area, asking random group of people if they have extra tickets.
I got lucky on my first try. This guy with 4 tickets, but then his friends are all joining him.
After some time I can't help but notice he's still alone, so every now and then he'll notice I've been looking at him..lol, must have thought I'm some nutter.
Well all the people I've asked were very nice! They all said 'no, sorry' and smiled at me. Damn I wouldn't mind trading in all the 'no, sorry' + smiles I've collected for the tickets!
And then I was around this guy again, and overheard him telling one security one of his friends might not make it. I was so excited I wondered if I annoyed my brother, lol. Of course I stared at his way even more often.
And sure enough, he approached me shortly after saying he miiight be able to give up one ticket because one of his friends isn't coming, but he'll hold on to it just in case.
But there's my brother and myself with one ticket?
So I walked around more and asked more people. Still no tickets to give away. I even went up to the counter towards the end and ask if there're any uncollected tickets. He said no. I swore he lied.
Well as the time past it got really crowded and started to spot celebrities around. Zoe Tay took photos with this group of people who were all dressed up in robes and wands! There were even an Umbridge and Luna (complete with her weird glasses and a copy of Quibbler! Very impressive!) And then there's also Pat Mok, Andrian Pang & family, Edmund Chen & family, Pan Ling Ling & family as well, Joscelyn (sp?) Tay...
The screening was a very strict affair. Regardless if your phone has a camera function or not you're NOT allowed to bring in. They have to be checked in with a counter.
After 1.5hrs, the guy with the extra ticket is no where to be found. My brother and I finally gave up. Can't say we were not gutted!
Of Runways, Stopped Heart (twice), Tou Nee, Mee Soto, Vibrating Washing Machines & Roaches
Went to Orchard Central with Jas Claire Ed and Ter today. Place's layout is kinda weird, many shops hidden in corners. One thing I really like is they have loads of sofas for people to sit. One thing I don't really enjoy is the mental endless spiralling carpark. And the number of lots on a level is insanely few. No wonder they need 11 floors of carpark levels.
Headed to Paragon's Spaggedis (sp?) for dessert. Damn their brownies is quite a big serving. And Ed heard me saying tou nee instead of brownies! lol, enjoyed talking over dessert..while Ed is busy looking at vibrating washing machines at the store opposite.
Ed: Some people enjoy sitting on them.. Ter: *turned to me* Really?? Me: *incredulous face* Why did you turn to me?!
And then everyone burst out laughing followed by more surreptitious and random sniggerings.
Had a heart attack on the way home after we dropped Ed off, because there was a baby roach on the dashboard. I buckled so quickly and tried to move as far away as possible from the dasboard Ter thought some truck was crashing straight into us. Drama.
Damn ah am so lazy nowadays see my blog post feels bit mono too ain't it?
P.S: First heart attack incident story purposely left out of this post. ;)
My boss showed me an sms today..it's from a couple whom I edited their full day wedding video. They said the video made them cry. Of course it's not entirely my work (2 other people have had their input). Still, I hope they know how much it means to me (as much as to them)!

I watched Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen last night. I like the jungle fighting scene! I was also reading about the Orion constellation yesterday at work, and it was mentioned in the film! Coincidence..
I read this interesting short article on 8 Days. The writer was saying how he'll stop reading and watching the news. Why? Because all that's in the news nowadays are just bad news, bad news and more bad news..not that I'm not sympathetic, of course I am. But what's the point of reading more bad news everyday?
Yay I finished Season 2 of Gossip Girl today! Was getting bored mid of this season..but the later episodes redeemed the season!
Watching Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen next Wednesday. Rotten Tomatoes says the movie is rotten..lol, the general consensus is that there's too many explosions and metals clashing around than the first..and it lacks human touch. I say this movie is made about the CG. Yes it'll be even better with a good plot to go with..but I'll be too busy being wow-ed by the animation.
Anyway because of Jas, I started watching Catherine Tates Show. Damn it's hilarious. I love her!
Pfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffft. I feel so tired. Think I'm gonna skip dinner again for sleep. Niightttt.
I feel like someone has reached in, took my brain out, and brought it for a spin -- literally. Because that's the only reason I can think of now for my retarded brain. I think I have noticed the past year how forgetful I have been..and it's not a good thing. Urgh! And I've not been as productive as I've hoped to be.
Aaaaaanyway, can you believe this?! Half-Blood Prince will be out in the theatres in LESS THAN A MONTH! *does a little happy dance* Yeah you'll never be able to witness my happy dance. <=) Shit, I don't know what I'm still waiting for but I still haven't buy my Singapore vs Liverpool tickets. The Kop sector, which I want appears to have sold out. I've called a couple of Harry's Bar (they sell the tickets along with Adidas) and apparently I must not be the first 10 to do so because one of the guy who answered my phone went something like, 'We don't have the ticket you want and I don't know where is selling it. A lot of people has been calling to ask.' True story. Service line? Maybe he's a Manchester United fan? Too bad they're only heading to M'sia and not here. Pfft I think I need a holiday. To reset. You know? I haven't even finish 4th month of my full time job and I'm already thinking of a holiday. Don't really deserved it yet, maybe? Seems like a good night's sleep no longer works the charm of resetting my system like it used to. :/ I watched about 8, 9 hours of Gossip Girl S2 yesterday and todaaaay. Can't remember the last time I watched so many at one go! Also until last Tuesday I have sat in front of the TV for the longest time in months. Which is just only about an hour odd..! Since I have developed a distaste for local dramas (tell me when's the last time 3 dramas in a row whose content doesn't have anyone who nearly got raped or raped or nobody's having an affair). Really drama I tell you. As if our real Life doesn't already have enough I don't need to watch something like this to end a day off. Oh the show which I caught last Tuesday is the one which Mark Lee is the host and they have about 9 or so foregin people learning about local culture and sharing their own. Now that's something really good.
Can't wait for Transformers 2 which comes out earliest next Tuesday!
Oh I am trying to exercise at leeeeast once every week now. Need to keep in shape since all I can think about lately is having expensive (and sometimes unhealthy) food. So maybe having no plans at all this weekend is a blessing in disguise since I have overspent on food the past week. Naaay, can't say no to good food!
Oh! Recently, I suddenly hope that it's the Christmas season. Though I don't celebrate it as a tradition, there just seems to be this warm, fuzzy feeling in the air that I just can't resist it! And loads of fairy lights will be hung on the trees along the streets everywhere..I love fairy lights anytime anywhere. :D

And I keep track of the books I read and want to read on Facebook's Visual Bookshelf. Now I'm organised aren't I? ( just don't see my room)
Son of a -- I still haven't get around to getting contacts!! I'm dying to put on some shades. The day I do I'm gonna pop some champagne and I think I'm gonna take so many photos my camera lens will crack. Naaaah, if you know me I don't take photos of myself. ;)
8.50pm. Being sick always seems to take away your appetite. I think I can fall asleep now without any dinner.

This Saturday Manchester United vs Arsenal! I'm planning to go Singapore Flyer with my brother and watch the game. The atmosphere is gonna be great! Of course I'll be with my brother on this one. Please win the devils and stop them from winning the league this season..

Yesterday was my company's off day, so I went to watch Knowing with my cousin and brother.
It was Awesome.
In fact I'd like to put it this way: It is so Awesome right from the start there isn't enough left for the ending.
2 near misses during the show. One: I really thought my head's gonna explode from the tension and suspense. Two: I nearly jumped up from my seat and shouted just to get the tension off inside me!
No exaggeration. That's for sure. True story.
The first 2 disasters reminded me of L4D's scenarios..
I think it's the best suspense I've watched..actually come to think of it, I don't really remember watching (if any) a lot of suspense. So, but this is really good. Just don't think too much why Cage and his on-screen son happens to live in such a huge, terrifying looking house. Or how highly coincidental he noticed the dates and starts writing them on the whiteboard.
Just go in. Sit down. Relax (if you can). And enjoy.
